Give blood at hospital next week

Newark Hospital will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 13 from 10 to 3:30 at the hospital. The drive will be held in the cafeteria on the basement level.

All presenting donors (those who are able to donate or are deferred for medical reasons by the Red Cross) will receive two free movie passes to Showplace 6 in Newark as a thank-you gift for their efforts to support the drive.

In the attempt to get everyone through the donation process faster, please remember the following:

The Red Cross is now requiring that all presenting donors bring positive identification with them so please bring some form of picture I.D. along.

Call 1.877.922.5465 to schedule an appointment. (Donors with appointments are taken first.)

Walk-ins are welcome, however.
