Photo workshop Saturday in Newark

A Photography Workshop, sponsored by Wayne County Historical Society and Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, will be held July 16, from 1-2:30 p.m., at the Newark-Arcadia Historical Museum, 120 High St.

The workshop fee is $5, and advance registration is required (phone 315.946.4943). Feel free to bring cameras and samples of your work. Professional Photographer Ralph Thompson will be the instructor. This program is supported in part by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program. The museum will also be open, featuring the new exhibits The Arts and Entertainment in Newark and World War II. Museum hours are Saturdays, 1-3 p.m. and Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m. (any other time gladly by appointment).
