Sodus Swing Choir Alumni Concert

The Sodus Central School Swing Choir Alumni will be holding their 4th annual Reunion and Concert on July 30 at the Sodus Central School Auditorium. Registration for members will begin at noon. Practice will be between 1 and 4 p.m. The concert at 4 p.m. will be free to the public. It will be followed by a reception in the cafeteria.

The Swing Choir was a student/faculty choir began in 1945 under the guidance of Alice Ingison. The choir continued to perform until 1990. Mrs. Ingison passed away in 1997, and in 2002 the Alumni began holding annual Reunion Concerts. A core group of Alumni meets monthly to practice old songs and learn new ones.
