Civil War Exhibit at County Museum 'In Their Words: Wayne County Soldiers in the Civil War' is a new exhibition at the Museum of Wayne County History, 21 Butternut Street, Lyons. It runs from July 15 through September 18. The exhibition explores a defining moment in American history from a Wayne County perspective. Through remembrances and letters of Wayne County men who fought in the war, a new story is told - one that is personal and heartfelt. Museum admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students. The museum, located in the former county jail and sheriff's residence, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For additional information, call the museum at 315.946.4943.
