Picnic held in Alloway

Sixty-plus residents and friends of Alloway attended the annual picnic July 10 at the home of Amelia Engels, 377 Water Street. Everyone enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors whom they do not often see.

Jacob Gardner and Nicole DeSain were presented Alloway awards during commencement exercises at Lyons Central School.

Sharon Smith, Alloway resident, who spent nine months teaching in China, spoke concerning her experiences and presented a display of items. She expects to return to China in August to instruct teachers.
