Blodgett & Pierce reunion planned

The 130th Blodgett and 117th Pierce reunions will be held August 6.

The reunion will be at the Chautauqua Co. Firemen's Picnic Grounds in Stockton. Activities will begin with a potluck lunch at 1.

Please bring a dish to pass, cold beverage and table service, (coffee will be provided). Also please bring any old family history or memorabilia to share.

Bring a favorite recipe for the future Blodgett-Pierce Family Recipe Book.

From Interstate 90 (thruway exit 59) Go south on NY 60 to Cassadaga (about eight miles) and turn onto Rt. 58 west (Maple Ave.) at stoplight in Cassadaga.

We are descendants of Thomas Blodgett who, with his family, came from England in 1635; lineage Thomas; Samuel; Josiah; Silas; Aaron; Abram Stocking; Milo (twin with Philo);

and of Ichabod Pierce who, with his family, moved from Vermont to Chautauqua Co., around 1838, lineage John; John; Preserved; Nathaniel; Joseph; Ichabod Sr.; Ichabod Jr.; Eons Allen.

Anyone related to these families is welcome. There will be extensive genealogical works to look through.

Always looking for more information to add to the family history. Douglas Nelson is Secretary-treasurer.
