Train excursions planned

The Finger Lakes Railway will celebrate its tenth anniversary with train excursions sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Railroad Historical Society on Saturday, July 30. Three two-hour, 26 mile passenger train excursions will run over former New York Central 'Auburn Road' railroad line from Geneva to Cayuga and return. The trains will depart from the Finger Lakes Railway Offices/Shops on Border City Rd. in Geneva at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Fare is $18 per person.

A public open house will be held at the Finger Lakes Railway Shops during the excursions. Tickets are on sale Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Finger Lakes Railway Offices.
