NHS band concert in Central Park

The Newark High School Band Concert in the Park will be held June 8 from 7 to 8 p.m. in Central Park across from the Newark Post Office.

Dave Schwind, who also teaches instrumental music at NHS, said the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will perform light favorites and show tunes. 'Each year this has been a wonderful, relaxing evening of music in our community and we urge everyone to attend,' he said. Don't forget to bring lawn chairs.
