Bake sale today in Newark

On Sat., June 4, at 3 p.m., the Newark Grange local #366 will hold a bake sale in the lower level of the Newark Public Library.

Grangers are known for being good cooks, their wares will include a variety of homemade cookies, breads, cakes, pies and candy.

Grange is a community service organization for people of all ages. Members of the Newark Grange are very aware of the educational and recreational function our wonderful library serves.

In order to enable the library to have some extra funds to add at least a few items to the collection or provide improved services, Grangers decided to use their culinary talents to show their support.
