Lyons caucuses set

Lyons Democrats, both in the Village and in the Town, will caucus Thursday night, June 9 at 7 p.m. in the old County Courthouse.

The Republican Party Caucus for both the Town and Village of Lyons of will be held at the Lyons Community Center on Broad Street at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 13.

These caucuses are called for the purpose of nominating candidates to fill existing vacancies for both the Town and Village Elections to be held on November 8.

Town offices to be voted on are: Supervisor (2 years), Town Clerk (4 years), Town Justice (4 years), Councilman (4 years), Councilman (4 years), Assessor (4 Years), Assessor (2 years vacancy), and Supt of Highways. Village offices to be voted on are: Mayor (4 years), Trustee (4 years), Trustee (4 years), and Trustee (2 years vacancy).

Only those who are registered with the party will be allowed to vote in the caucus.

If you you recently moved into the town or village or if you are not registered to vote and you would like to vote at caucus, contact the Wayne County Board of Elections.
