Planning for VBS in Lyons

The Lyons Inter-Church Council has designated the week of July 24, for the Lyons Vacation Bible School. The Lyons Vacation Bible School program usually runs five consecutive evenings during the summer starting on Sunday and ending on Thursday.

Last year, more than 50 children took part in the program, learning about important heroes in the Bible through music, drama, puppets, games, crafts and snacks. Each evening features opening and closing assemblies where all the children gather together for singing and special activities.
