Newark Church youths going on mission A group of young people from the Park Presbyterian Church in Newark will participate in a weeklong workcamp mission to the residents Kingston, Tennessee. July 10-16, the youths will participate in the Cinch River Workcamp, sponsored by Group Workcamps of Loveland, CO. Workcamp participants provide their own expenses and transportation to the workcamp. The young people will perform carpentry, repair damaged roofs, or add wheelchair ramps for homeowners who cannot do the work themselves. Several hundred other young people and their adult leaders from locations across the United States and Canada, representing many churches, will also participate in the Cinch River Workcamp. Through their work, these young people will gain a life-changing understanding about the hardships of poverty. And they'll feel good knowing they have helped make a family warmer and drier this winter. The workcamp provides young people with a unique opportunity to show their Christian faith by working together to help others. Going on the trip are Philip Conklin, Andrew Cornwell, Emily Cornwell, Catherine Fagner, Philip Fagner, Alex Nassimos, Geoff Nassimos, Alex McCrossen, Natalie Meyer, Joslyn Pruitt, Sidney Pruitt, Cara Stephens and Kasie Tierson. Adult leaders accompanying the youth are Henry and Chris Stephens; with Jody Pruitt, Adriane Smith and Wayne Smith serving as other adult chaperones. If you wish to help finance the trip for any of the above youths by sponsoring them with a cash donation, in any amount, contact the studetns or the Park Presbyterian Church at 331.2255. Copyright
