Marion Academic Awards

Marion underclassmen won awards on June 21.

  • Kasey Bliek - The Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award in Humanities and Social Sciences.
  • James Bond - Boy's State Delegate, chosen by the American Legion to represent the Marion Central School District.
  • Bryan Bushart - Boy's State Delegate
  • Zachary Byron - James V. Leenhouts Memorial Science Award. Cash award presented to student when he graduates.
  • Lauren Cummings - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award - top 10% of all Regents Chemistry students.
  • Christina Driessen - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award.
  • Matthew Hussey - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award.
  • Brianne Kreiss - The Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award.
  • Tyler Lewis - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award.
  • Rachael Rose - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award.
  • Elizabeth Snyder - RIT Computing Medal and Scholarship Program.
  • Zachary Soudan - Clarkson University Leadership Award. If he chooses to attend Clarkson, he will be awarded a $40,000.00 scholarship over four years.
  • Audrey Tuma - KODAK Young Leaders Award & Scholarship. is eligible She for a $6000 Young Leaders Scholarship at the University of Rochester.
  • Nicholas Varalli - Boy's State Delegate.
  • Jordan VerPlank - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award.
  • Cora Walker - Girl's State Delegate.
  • Lindsey Wheeler - The American Chemical Society Recognition Award.
