Dutch Dinner planned at EPCS

An authentic Dutch dinner will be held at East Palmyra Christian School, 2023 East Palmyra-Port Gibson Rd., on Friday, April 1. The all-you-can-eat ethnic buffet will serve from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the school's gym.

Prepared by authentic Dutch cooks, the menu includes Snert (pea soup), Gehaktballetjes (meatball soup), Dutch Lettuce, Hutspot (carrots, Potatoes, onions), Worst (sausage), Boerenkool (Kale, potatoes), sauerkraut and bacon, Olie Bollen, Banket (almond pastry), and Oranje Koek (orange cake).

Reservations are needed by Wednesday, March 30, and can be made by calling the school office at 315.597.4400.

Adults, $7.50, Age 3-11, $3.75. Take-outs will be available also. Funds raised from the dinner will be applied toward gym debt reduction.
