We've been informed that St. Patrick's Day means more than green beer and bagels to gardeners. It means it's time to plant your peas. Although a time-honored tradition, for many of us, the ground is still too cold and wet to successfully start our peas (if you can see the soil at all). But it's not too early to choose our seeds from the many varieties available. Peas are truly one of those vegetables that are an absolute treat fresh from the garden. Beth and Tom Castle will be moving from Florida if they haven't arrived already to Virginia. Also the gang from Newark should be making their pilgrimage from Florida back North any day now. The calendar has informed us that Spring is due any day and we all know the calendar tells no lies. (I will probably be the blue person you see, but I will not have cabin fever.) Write to me with your events, birthdays and everything you would like to share I look forward to hearing from you.
