Sodus Bay Sportsmen Club

The new officers are: President Ron Millon, Vice President Frank Perotto, Secretary Brenda Forsythe, Treasurer Mark Malchoff; One-year Trustees Ike Austin and George Baist; three-year Trustees are Mike Beckens and Nancy Lindenmuth; two years, Jack Heckeler and Mark Jones.

Joel Myers is Field Marshall, with Jack Heckeler as Assistant Field Marshall, and Don Lindenmuth will be Club Steward.

Members thank former President Don Lindenmuth and Vice President Joey Ritz for the work they did at the club, and many people who helped out at the club during the past year. The club needs more help with the fields, kitchen and work details.

Club dues are renewable on July 1; dues are $20 individual and $30 for a family.

The Pig Roast will be on July 30. The cost is $10 per person and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Inquire at the club for dinner tickets. A raffle will be held; first prize: Remington Sporting 12 gauge, vented rib, 28-inch barrel, four extended tubes or ($500).

2nd Prize is a Traditions 50 cal. Pursuit Pro Break - open rifle W/3x9 Bushnell Scope or ($200.00).

3rd Prize is a Winchester Knife Set. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or six for $5.

The Club 'Poke and Hope League' will start April 9 and end on August 13. It is a 'fun league' and you may shoot skeet or trap. Sign up at the club.

The Little Brown Jug Trap League will start April 2 and 3 and end September 24 and 25.

The Club is open for shooting on Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 to 4. Call ahead if you wish to shoot at other times.

The club will be open on Memorial Day and July 4 for shooting from 10 to 4.
