Lyons Civic Club planning a book

The Lyons Civic Club is beginning work on their first publication, an historic look at Lyons between 1900 and 1950, that will be printed later this year.

The book will contain pictures and an overview of life in the canal town. Anyone who has pictures of people, places and events from this period, and who is willing to loan pictures for scanning, call Sharon Lubitow (946.3367), Andi Evangelist (946.9340) or e-mail lyonscivicclub@aol.com

Credit will be given for each picture published. The Lyons Civic Club, Inc. is an educational and charitable 501(c)(3) organization that has a cultural focus and provides projects and programming for students and adults in Wayne County, particularly in Lyons.
