Local history book for sale

The World War II Prisoner of War Camps In Wayne County, New York And Their Prisoners, a book by local author Annette T. Harris, is now available.

The book gives the locations and descriptions of the four camps in the county and is illustrated with 41 photographs. Included in the text are anecdotes from county residents, a former guard and former German prisoners of war. Books can be purchased from the author by calling 946.4492. The price of $9 includes tax.
