Blood Drive today in Newark

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive today, from 10 to 3:30 p.m.

The drive will be held in the cafeteria (take the Visitor's elevators to the basement level). The ViaHealth movie ticket promotion will again be in effect for this drive. All presenting donors (those who are able to donate or are deferred for medical reasons by the Red Cross) will receive two free movie passes to ShowPlace 6 in Newark as a thank you gift for their efforts to support the drive. In the attempt to get everyone through the donation process faster, please remember the following: The Red Cross is now requiring that all presenting donors bring positive identification with them so please bring some form of picture I.D. along. Please call the phone number listed below to schedule an appointment. (Donors with appointments are taken first.) Walk-Ins are welcome, however.
