We are happy to hear that Howard and Svea Dahlberg are back in Marion and enjoying our 'spring weather.'

Brian and Jill Adriaansen, and boys, Craig and Derek, had as house guests, Grandma Grace and Grandpa Roger Schneckenburger. All enjoyed celebrating Jill's birthday and an early Mother's Day.

'A man who says it can't be done should not interrupt the woman doing it.'

Dick Murphy is recuperating from cataract surgery. Let me know how you celebrated your Mother's Day.

The sixth Legion Baseball Cook Book is being readied in anticipation of the ball games scheduled 'on the hill.' Boys and girls are encouraged to participate in this local team who get to play area teams. Call to reserve your copy.

Esther Haskins, of Carmel, California, is in town visiting with family members and friends in the area.

The first meeting of the Marion Senior Citizens will be at noon on Tuesday, May 10 at the Fire Hall. Pot luck dinner is followed by a session of bingo and dominoes. Group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. For information call Bob Marion at 926.4494.

The Care Net Pregnancy Center has been extremely blessed by the 'Baby Bottle Fund Drive' St. Gregory's raised $210.50 to date. Thanks to this testimony to the Lord's goodness and provision.

Mother's Day - The some 80 million mothers in the United States receive an average of 2.5 gifts each and close to 250 million cards each Mother's Day.

April 29, four groups of 4th graders from the Marion Elementary School paid a visit to our Museum.

May 13 - East Palmyra Christian School will hold their Spring Band Concert at 7:15 p.m. 'Arts Alive' is the name of the evening of art and music at the elementary school on May 12. The Art Show will begin at 6:30 - art will be on display throughout the school. The 5th-6th grade chorus will present their Spring Concert at 7:30 in the elementary auditorium.

May 6 - Family roller skating, sponsored by the Marion PTA, 7-8:30 p.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
