D.A.R. program on Rochambeau The Col. Wm. Prescott Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet May 18 at the Chapter House, 119 High Street, Newark. The Board meets at 10:15, business meeting at 11, and lunch at noon. The program at 1 p.m. features an educational presentation by District Regent Cynthia Cuddeback on 'The 225th Year Commemorative of Rochambeau's March.' Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau (1725-1807). As a lieutenant general, comte de Rochambeau commanded the French expeditionary army sent to help the American Revolution during 1780 to 1782. His skillful leadership and professional wisdom were vital to the American-French allied victory at Yorktown in September 1781. If the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes. Copyright
