Book review lunch in Newarak

The Friends of the Newark Public Library will present a book review luncheon Friday, November 18 at noon at the library.

Jean Richards Seymour, retired Newark Central School English teacher, will be guest speaker. She will review The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This stirring novel tells of the return of an Afghan American to Kabul to learn how his childhood friend fared under the Taliban. This novel has been on the best seller list for 58 weeks and is currently listed as number 6.

The public is invited to attend by calling 331.4370 by 1 p.m. on November 16. The cost of the luncheon is $4.
