Dear Dan - All the leaves have blown to the neighbors' and we have a perfect view of the steeple of the First Church. Esther Deys fell and break her shoulder recently. November 1938 - The Turkey Hop Scores a Hit - The 'Turkey Hop' was both a social and financial success. People came from Geneva, Newark, Palmyra, Walworth, Rochester and Williamson. The orchestra came up to the expectations of everyone. James White was the lucky winner of the turkey with some people wondering why, when Bill White supervised the drawing of the numbers. However, we assure you it was on the level. The refreshments were enjoyed by all and the decorations were in the festive spirit. Congratulations! To Barb DeWandel for having the winning ticket for the Marion Coverlet. A SAD RECIPE This was in a recipe book No credits given. I didn't have potatoes So I substituted rice. I didn't have paprika So I used another spice. I didn't have tomato sauce, I used tomato paste - A whole can, not a half can - I don't believe in waste. A friend gave me the recipe She said you couldn't beat it, There must be something wrong with her. I couldn't even eat it!
