Nursing Home Festival of Trees starts today The Wayne County Nursing Home is hosting a Festival of Trees and celebrating the holiday season in their new facility. Trees are either loaned or donated, and may be fresh cut or artificial. The trees are decorating the Wayne County Nursing Home. Donated trees will be auctioned (silent auction), and may be picked up by the highest bidder on December 18. Proceeds of the silent auction will benefit the Resident Fund. The Festival of Trees includes a tour of the nursing home. The Wayne County Nursing Home is celebrating 175 years of service to the residents of Wayne County. Established by the county Board of Supervisors in 1830 to provide care for the needy and, continuing today as a full service nursing and rehab care facility. Questions? contact Susan V.
