Beautification project at nursing home

Birds and Blooms Beautification Project: You are invited to help with this project. We would like to have the Wayne County Nursing Home burst in bloom in the spring of 2006. We need donations of spring bulbs, perennials, people who would help to prepare flowerbeds and, people to plant bulbs and perennials. There are two work dates coming up to prepare flowerbeds. They are Thursday, October 6 at 3 p.m. and, Thursday, October 13 at 3 p.m.

Call Susan V. VanLare, Volunteer Coordinator, at 946.5673 if you are interested in digging up the dirt. There is a donation box for bulbs at the WCNH receptionist's desk or you could donate money for the purchase of bulbs. We will appreciate your help to make our vision happen.
