Authors to visit Newark tomorrow Authors Cathryn Dippo and Janet Speary Dippo will be guest speakers at the Newark-Arcadia Historical Museum, 120 High St., on October 27 at 7 p.m. Their new book, Emmons Fashion Magic Jewelry, will be available. The Emmons Jewelry Company was founded by Lyman K. Stuart in Newark in 1948, having been named for his grandmother, Caroline Emmons Stuart. Emmons was a sister company of Sarah Coventry. Both were divisions of the C.H. Stuart Co. The book contains 580 full-color photographs of more than 1300 named jewlery designs. Their talk will cover some of the history of the company and on the adventures of writing a book. A display will accompany the program. The book signing and program are free. Call 331.6409.
