Memories of Lyons

Starting next month, members of the Lyons Civic Club, Inc. will begin collecting oral histories from former Lyons residents who now live in area nursing homes and senior living centers.

Through this project, Passing Down Memories, volunteers expect to not only get the outline of the individual histories, but the colors as well. On Monday, October 10, Civic Club members will be at the Wayne County Nursing Home at 10:30 a.m. to begin learning about various residents' lives, work, families, and community.
