Golf for Habitat

The 13th Annual Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County/Bob Tricarico Memorial Golf Tournament will be held September 26.

It is sponsored by WCTA Federal Credit Union, and will be held at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club.

Tee time is 1 p.m. with a shotgun start and scramble format. Entry fee is $100 per person and includes golf, cart, pig roast, and a $5 credit in the pro shop.

Dinner only tickets are available at $30 each. Prizes for hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin, and longest-drive contests include a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt donated by Mike Barnard Chevrolet Cadillac in Newark.

All tournament proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County's 23rd house, to be built at 953 East Maple Ave. in Newark.

The goal of Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County is to eliminate substandard housing one home at a time by providing simple, decent, affordable housing for those in need.
