Rabies Clinics planned Wayne County Public Health, together with area vets, is pleased to announce the dates for our Fall Rabies Clinics for pets. Clinics will be held at 5 different locations throughout Wayne County, enabling all county residents easy access. Rabies, a potentially fatal disease, continues to be an important public health risk. State Law requires all DOGS, CATS, and FERRETS over the age of 4 MONTHS be vaccinated against rabies. A $5 donation is requested to help defray the cost of the clinics, but no one will be denied vaccination for their pets due to any inability to donate. Dogs must be leashed and cats/ferrets confined in some type of secure carrier to prevent escapes and injuries. Please note that 2 clinics will be held on Thursday, September 29 at different sites. Please be a responsible pet owner and vaccinate your pet.
Note: The site for the Lyons Clinic is now being held at the new Maintenance Facility, on Clyde Road, just down the street from Lyons High School. For more information please call WCPHS at (315)946.5749 or your Town Office. Copyright
