Antique Show & Sale this Sunday

The Wayne County Antique Dealers Associations 37th Annual Spring Antique Show & Sale will be Sunday, April 9, at Newark High School, 625 Peirson Ave., Newark. Show hours are 10-4. Over 50 quality dealers from the five-county area will be participating. A wide variety of antiques and collectibles will be offered, including furniture, primitives, pottery, glass, post cards, fine jewelry, toys, lamps, quilts, coverlets, kitchen collectibles, tools, and much more.

The Dropped Shop will offer expert glass, china, porcelain, pottery and gold-leaf frame restoration throughout the day. Verbal appraisals will be conducted from 12-4: Antiques, by John DeVolder ($3/item, limit of two), and Books & Prints, by John Westerberg ($4/item, no limit). The authors of Emmons Fashion Magic Jewelry, Cathryn Dippo & Janet Dippo, will have a book signing from 10 -12. Lunch will be available by the Newark Tip-Off Club. Admission to the show is $3.50.
