Jamboree in Lyons tomorrow

The Lyons Fire Police will be holding a Country Music Jamboree at the Lyons VFW on Sunday April 23. This benefit is to raise money for Federally mandated emergency communications radios. The Jamboree starts at 2 and runs until 7. The bands in order of appearance are Country Smoke, Hart Attack, Natural Image (host band), sign in talent, and Country Pleasure. The cost is $3/ person, $5/ couple, $2/65 and over, under 12 free.

The VFW Post is located south of Lyons at the helicopter. There will be raffles, a kitchen run by the Lyons VFW Color Guard and refreshments are available. All proceeds will go to the Lyons Fire Police.
