County Fair is around the corner The 151st annual Wayne County Fair, August 14-19 is fast approaching and no matter how old you are, you can participate in the Fair located in Palmyra. If you make it, bake it or grow it, the Fair has a competition you can enter. Do you make craft items, sew, quilt, work with wood or have a unique collection? Is your vegetable garden producing great results? Do you have flowers in your garden or houseplants that you have given tender loving care? Are you known for your famous homemade pies or your great photography? All of the above and more can be entered in the Wayne County Fair regardless of your age and if you live in Wayne, Monroe, Ontario, Yates, Stueben or Wyoming counties. All non-perishable entries are accepted on Saturday, August 12 from 9 to 5. Judging will be on Sunday, August 13 at 10 a.m. Perishable entries must be in place before 10 a.m. on Monday, August 14 with judging taking place at 11:30.
