Revival meetings start tomorrow in Newark

A series of revival meetings will begin Sunday, August 13 at 11 a.m. and August 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. at New Beginnings in Newark.

The Rev. Bob Sexton comes from Baltimore, Maryland. In his younger years, he was a rook musician, playing mostly in bars and taverns. He was brash and driven in all his pursuits.

Quite unexpectedly, he saw that his life was devoid of purpose and hope for the future. He began a quest to find God, and his life was radically changed.

Sexton has used his musical talents in the church from the beginning. God called him to preach and teach the gospel and has given him great talent in conveying the message in a way that is relevant and easily understood.

He uses his characteristic boldness and determination in godly pursuits.

All of you are invited. Take time out from your hectic schedule and be refreshed. Nursery for children up to age 4 will be provided.

New Beginnings: Take 88 North, and turn onto Stuerwald Avenue (look for the blue 'H' hospital sign). Go all the way to the end, and you'll see the church on the left.
