Public meetings for Sodus Bay Harbor plan

Sodus Bay Harbor Management Plan, under the direction of the Greater Sodus Bay Intermunicipal Committee, is completing its two-year project.

Dr. Frank Sciremammano, consulting engineer, completed the Inventory and Analysis phase last year and now is presenting a draft Harbor Management Plan for public comment.

There will be three public meetings to share the results of this draft plan and receive input from interested parties.

• August 26 at 10 a.m. in the Village of Sodus Point at the Village Hall
• August 28 at 7 p.m. in the Sodus Town Hall downstairs court room
• August 29, 7 p.m., Huron Town Hall

The public is urged to attend and help determine the future of our great resource, Sodus Bay. All meetings will be the same format, so everyone is invited to choose the one that is most convenient to them. If there are any questions, please contact Bret DeRoo, Sr. Planner, 946.5919.
