Representing Wayne County at the New York State Fair's County Best of Show competition was Jake Polowckak of Palmyra with his wooden replica barn.

All Best of Fair winners received a donated gift or gift certificate and rosette.

Best of Fair in annual flowers went to A. VerDow of Williamson and Kathy Dunn of Palmyra for perennials.

Maier's Mudd Acres of Acres of Macedon received Best of Fair for annuals and Ken Bradstreet of Palmyra for perennials.

Emmet Vandenburgh of Williamson received Best of Fair honors in Houseplants. Tom Facer of Newark received Best of Fair in vegetables. Lorraine Mason of Williamson was awarded Best of Fair Fruit.

Jeremy Schutz of Baldwinsville received Best of Fair Dahlias.

Stan Starkenburg of Palmyra was awarded Best of Fair for back yard garden vegetables, herbs and potatoes.

Christine Boerman of Marion won Best of Fair for organic vegetables. Jean Starkenburgh of Palmyra took the honors of Best of Fair Vegetable Display.

John Morrisey of Palmyra captured Best of Fair in the grain category. Curtis Conaway of Macedon received the largest sunflower for both Monday and Thursday shows. Best of Show in roses category went to Sandy Kirin of Sodus.
