EPCS pre-school taking applications now

East Palmyra Christian School is accepting applications for the pre-kindergarten program. Children must be four years old by Dec. 1 to enroll.

The Christian pre-k program focuses exploring God's world through hands-on discovery activities in the areas of language, literature, science, music, imaginative play, and motor skill building. Children take part in engaging and meaningful seasonal celebrations, alphabet themes, and number awareness activities.

Pre-Kindergarten at the East Palmyra Christian School meets Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Parents can call the school for more information at 597.4400, or visit www.eastpalchristian.com

The Christian School held Band Camp August 14-18. 'Campers' came to school each morning from 9 to noon and prepared several pieces of music for a Friday night concert in the school gym. In addition to rehearsing for the concert, musicians played trivia games, had recess time and enjoyed the annual treasure hunt.

The band camp group also played a Kiddy Concert for the children at Candy Apple pre-school. The young audience and the band had a great time.

The school offers quality education to Christian families in and around Wayne County, pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

The school is located at 2023 East Palmyra-Port Gibson Road, three miles north of Rt. 31 between Palmyra and Newark.
