Tree of Lights for the Humane Society

The Humane Society of Wayne County invites you to participate in the 'Tree of Lights for the Animals.'

For a tax-deductible donation of $5 or more, they will place a light on the holiday tree at the shelter. For a tax deductible donation of $10 or more, they will place a light on the tree as well as a dog or cat ornament printed with the name of the animal you select. Your donation will be used to purchase much needed equipment and supplies for the shelter.

The tree was lit at Thanksgiving and will remain throughout the Christmas and Hanukkah season as a symbol of love and hope.

To purchase lights and ornaments, provide the names of the owner and pet(s) to be remembered. The names on the donors and pets will be placed in the 'Book of Memories.'

Forms are available at the shelter, Tail Waggers Kennel, Wayne County Veterinary offices, and other locations in and around Wayne County.
