Kwanzaa celebration Friday in Newark

There will be a WARE sponsored Kwanzaa Celebration Dec. 22 from 5-10 p.m. at the Alex Eligh Community Center in Newark. Admission is $3.50, $2 for students.

Storyteller Griot will deliver 'The Oral Tradition: From Africa to America.' Djembe Drumming Lessons will present 'The Talking Drums.' African dances will be performed by 'Ba Bes' and 'Youth Inspiration.'
