Newark kids will sing at the Eastman

Pictured are students of Jean Bendix, Newark High School vocal music teacher: Chelsea Bendix, Alyssa Seely, Claire Walton, Mary Timerson, Lydia Garofalo, Nathan Thayer, Scooter Rosenthal, Alex Nassimos, Michael Wildey, Andrew Hallagan, and Geoffrey Nassimos.

They performed five concerts last weekend and will perform three more on December 21, 22, 23 at 8 p.m. in the Eastman Theatre.

The entire choir numbers 170 students from the Section 5 area and they perform seven selections with the orchestra and one a cappella song.
