Wolcott market donated turkeys The Holiday Spirit is in the air! The generosity of Patrick Lurch and his daughter Sara, owners of the Ridgeway Meat Market, West Main Street, Wolcott, made it possible for 44 families to have a delicious turkey to add to their holiday meals. He contacted Wayne County Action Program (WCAP), Inc., explaining he needed to find homes for 44 turkeys. Maureen Parks, Director of the WCAP Family Resource Center in Sodus, said 'YES,' and she and her staff spread this holiday joy all throughout Wayne County. The Family Resource Center, located on Ridge Road E. in Sodus, provides support in many ways: emergency food, clothing, and programs to help individuals and families achieve employment and self-sufficiency. The ability to provide nutritious food to families who will truly benefit is greatly appreciated, especially at this time of year.
