Grant for Wayne Home Meal Service

Home Meal Service will receive a grant of $3000 from the Wayne County Community Endowment. This grant will fund meals-on-wheels for needy county residents who are not eligible for government assistance and operations support for the Sodus Nutrition Site.

The Wayne County Community Endowment consists of several funds established at Rochester Area Community Foundation for the benefit of residents of Wayne County. Each year, the Advisory Committee for the Wayne County Community Endowment accepts applications from a variety of organizations serving the charitable needs of the county.

The Committee reviews and analyzes the requests and recommendations worthy projects to the Board of Rochester Area Community Foundation. The Advisory Committee also encourages expanded philanthropy to meet the ongoing needs of the Wayne County Community.
