Lyons kids seek pictures, yearbook, clothing

This year's musical production at Lyons Middle/High School is Bye, Bye, Birdie. The show is set in a small town in the late 1950s. To make sure the actors look like teens and adults from the period, the costume volunteers are seeking photographs from Lyons, 1956 - 1959. Both color and black-and-white photographs are needed and will be kept only long enough to be scanned.

The costume volunteers would also like to borrow a 1957 Lyons High School yearbook. It too would be kept just for scanning.

Also, the production would welcome the donation of men's and women's hats and any type of uniform. These items are often used in shows and rarely available at affordable prices.

Bye, Bye, Birdie will be presented March 17, 18 and 19 at the Earl Buchanan Auditorium at Lyons Middle/High School.

If you have photographs or a yearbook to loan or costume pieces to donate, please call Sharon Lubitow at 946-3367.
