Lyons program about the Zurich Bog

Lyons Heritage Society will meet Monday, February 20, at 7 p.m. in the Hotchkiss Essential Oil Building at 95 Water Street, Lyons.

There will be a brief business meeting. The speaker for the evening is Mona Rynearson of Newark. A member of the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society, she is chairperson of the committee that oversees Zurich Bog.

She will present a slide program and describe the natural history and the preservation of Zurich Bog.

Rynearson will also talk about the Hotchkiss Preserve in Lyons, given to the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society by Anne Hotchkiss and the late Mary Hotchkiss.

The public is invited.
