The Lyons Public Library's Book Chat will discuss The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Readers will learn about Amir, a privileged son of a wealthy man and Hassan, the son of a family servant. They grow up in Afghanistan in the early 1970s.

Years later Amir and his father flee to America after a life changing event involving the boys occurs.
