EPFD elects officers

East Palmyra Fire Department held their annual meeting and election of officers on January 5.

Chief David Gushlaw reported a total of 97 calls in 2005 for an increase of 8 over the total in 2004. All 11 fire calls were non-structural with no dollar loss in that category.

He also reported 58 emergency medical services calls and 13 motor vehicle accident reports with three calls for Mercy Flight services. The report cited the mutual aid drill with Mercy Flight in October.

Elected administrative officers:

President Neil Gates; Vice President Roy Wilck; Treasurer Jennifer Duvall; Secretary Dan Gardner; Joe Bosje, Dan Gardner and John Rush were named to the Board of Directors.

Line officers for 2006 are Chief David Gushlaw; First Assistant Chief William Guinup; Second Assistant Chief Reginald Langdon;

Ernie Rothfuss - Captain E70; Andy Gardner - Captain E5; Bill Rowles - Captain R50; Joe Bosje - Lieutenant E70; Dan Gardner - Lieutenant E5; John Rush - Lieutenant R50.
