Winter lectures begin Jan. 28 The Newark-Arcadia Historical Society's 2006 Winter Lecture Series will be held at the Newark-Arcadia Museum, 120 High St., Newark. All programs are on Saturdays, beginning at 2 p.m. Admission is free (donations accepted). The Jan. 28 topic is 'Barns,' by Rich Hovens of Fayette. Feb. 11 is 'Historical Newark,' by John Zornow. Feb. 25 is 'A Grand American Tour: Recounting the 12th letter From A.J. Perkins, May 12, 1895,' presented by Barbara Meeks.
