Finger Lakes Stamp Club names Officers

On January 11, Finger Lakes Stamp Club elected officers for 2006. Donald Grover of Fairport is the new club president replacing Les Morse of Lyons, who had served as president the past two years. Grover joins re-elected officers: David Himes of Newark, vice-president; Gary Chicoine of Geneva, treasurer; and James Darnell of Clyde, secretary.

The Finger Lakes Stamp Club has served the interests of stamp collectors in the Finger Lakes area continuously since 1950. The club meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Meetings are held at the Sawdust Cafe on the campus of the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station on North Street in Geneva at 8 p.m.

The next meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 25. The public is welcome. For more information, call 923.7355.
