Chaplin film in Lyons The second film in the Lyons Public Library's Classic Comedies film series is a 1925 feature starring Charlie Chaplin on Sat., Jan 28 at 2 p.m. Chaplin, as the Little Tramp, travels to the Yukon seeking gold in the rough and rugged gold fields. In one wonderful scene, the Tramp prepares to cook and eat a leather shoe and treats it as a gourmet meal. A short discussion about the film will follow. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be served as part of the showing. This program is free and open to the public. The Harold Lloyd films, which were supposed to be shown on Jan. 14, will now be shown on Sat., Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. For details, call the library at 315.946.9262.
