Lyons Public Library receives grant The Lyons Public Library was recently awarded a $5,000 grant for technology from the Bullis Advised Fund, part of the Rochester Area Community Foundation. The grant will pay for access fees for OWWL, the online catalog and automation system, as well as the purchase of two more computers for the public and a new computer for the office. Jeanette Nettie Bullis was an astute businesswoman in Wayne County who had a strong interest in improving the quality of life for Wayne County residents. Created from her estate, the Bullis Advised Fund has helped fund purchases of new computers at the library in the past in addition to programming. The new computers have flat screen monitors and include Windows XP Pro SP2 and Microsoft Office 2003. For information about the public access computers, call the library at 946.9262. Copyright
