The United Church of Marion (3848 North Main Street) is having a Chicken & Biscuits Dinner with Homebaked Pies, January 30, starting at 4 p.m. until sold out. Adults $7; Kids 5-12 $3.50; Kids under 5 Free. Take-outs available.

Dick and Shirley Murphy's daughter, Dawn Sprague of New Jersey, is here for two weeks, visiting her family and friends.

Pearl Ververs is home recuperating from cataract surgery.

Youth Baseball/Softball Registration will take place Wednesdays Feb. 8 and March 1, 6-8 p.m. or Saturdays Feb. 11 and March 4, 9 to noon at the Marion Town Park. Registration is open to boys and girls in Pre-K through 6th grade. Contact Larry Porter at 331.6546.
